Stellar (XLM) & Tron (TRX) Shine – Coin Prices Rebound Amid Big Movements – Crypto Currency News

Stellar (XLM & Tron (TRX) – Most of the cryptocurrency market is in the green this morning, as we kick off our Tuesday. Ethereum (ETH) is still trading well below $550, but Bitcoin (BTC) seems to be making a surge towards the $7,000 range. Tron (TRX) remains the top coin with percentage gains today on the market, out of the top 100 cryptocurrencies.

Let’s take a look at the latest developments of two top 10 coins; Stellar and Tron.

Stellar (XLM)

ItBit made the announcement last week that it would be adding Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Stellar (XLM) to its regulated cryptocurrency exchange platform. This is big news for the cryptocurrency, as ItBit is the first licensed cryptocurrency exchange to receive approval from the New York State Department and because of this, all cryptocurrencies can be offered in all 50 states.

Stellar was chosen over its “big brother” Ripple (XRP), which remains as the third largest cryptocurrency. XLM was chosen over EOS, IOTA and ADA all within the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market cap.

There are rumors circulating that the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) is planning on launching its own decentralized trading platform (SDEX). These rumors have yet to be credibly confirmed, but the exchange is “expected” to launch sometime next month – we’ll see.

At press time, XLM is trading at $0.237 a coin, up 4.69%, in 24 hours.

Tron (TRX)

TRX is currently seeing massive price gains on today’s market, just before its token migration is set to kick off this Thursday.

Most cryptocurrency exchanges that trade TRX will be handling the token migration, but it would be wise to move your ERC20 TRX tokens over before Thursday – as most exchanges operate overseas. If you don’t move your tokens over to an exchange in time – not to worry. The Tron Foundation will handle the token swap for you. All you need to do is email withdraw@tron.network with your balance of ERC20 TRX tokens by December 31th, 2018.

All ERC20 withdrawal service for the Tron Official website will end on Just 22nd.

At press time, TRX is trading at $0.491 a coin, up 19.96%, in 24 hours.

Tron TRX Token Swap Nears – TRX Down -37% Since Main Net Launch – Crypto Currency News

Tron TRX – The TRON main net was released just nearly three weeks ago, but TRX’s price has yet to reflect the monumental event.

It remains unknown if investors are just waiting to see if the main net had any crucial bugs or flaws before cashing in, but two and a half weeks later and the coin is still dropping. Tron’s vision is years from completion, but it is surprising that investors hadn’t gained any confidence from the fact that the Tron team finally released the Tron blockchain.

TRX Token Swap

TRX’s token migration is set to start this Thursday and will conclude on June 25th.

At this time, all exchanges that have TRX on their platform will perform the migration for its investors. From June 21st-25th, TRX withdrawals on these exchanges will be suspended, and on the 25th, both withdrawals and deposits will be suspended.

TRX holders must transfer their TRX to the exchange they traded their TRX for before June 21st. If you forget to do so, there will be a permanent token exchange counter that will be able to swap your ERC20 TRX tokens for main net TRX tokens. All TRX tokens traded will be at a 1:1 ratio.

TRX Price Movement

Tron’s digital token saw a spike in price around the middle of May but has since dropped and continues to drop.

At press time, TRX is trading at $0.0420 a coin, down -2.07%, in 24 hours. For the week, TRX is down –9.87% and for the month, TRX is down –37.77%.

It remains unknown if TRX will rebound after the token migration is completed, but many senior analysts predicted TRX would spike just after the main net launch and were wrong.

Tron (TRX) Announces Google Chrome Plugin TRX Wallet – Ledger Hardware Wallet in the Works – Crypto Currency News

Tron (TRX) – Yesterday, the Tron Foundation made an announcement showcasing a new “recommended” Chrome wallet to be used by TRX holders.

Created by developer Jake Lin, the Tron Chrome wallet is a multi-functional wallet that can be applied to Google Chrome plugins but is designed specifically for the TRON web. It has been tested thoroughly, and the Tron development team believes the wallet has stable performance, good user experience, and provides quick interaction with digital accounts.

This wallet allows you to:

  • Receive TRX through a QR code
  • Send TRX and other tokens
  • Check the balance of TRX and other digital currencies
  • Check the TRX market

Users also can vote in the Tron Super Representative election using the Chrome wallet.

You can download the link to the wallet here. Like any online wallet, it is not advised to hold your digital tokens online. While the team claims it is safe, hacks still occur. The development team at Tron is currently working with Ledger to offer a hardware offline TRX solution.

Where’s the “Official” Tron Wallet?

While some TRX holders seemed excited about a Tron wallet, many were concerned and are waiting for the ‘official’ one to come out.

One user by the name of @AurthorCLBrown tweeted:

Another Twitter user replied to the same tweet by saying:

The good news is that the Tron team is currently working with the ledger team on a hardware wallet, but Tron enthusiasts may not be happy until the Tron dev team coughs up an “Official” Tron wallet.
